José Alfredo Pequeño is an IT professional and expert with more that 28 years of experience. With nearly 22 years at Banregio (Banco Regional de Monterrey) he has developed an impressive expertise in business intelligence analysis, Balance Score Card (Bank Operations and IT), operations and IT budget control, outsourcing management, IT infrastructure and architecture, amongst many others.

He is currently one of the select group of Chief Data Officers in Central America and is responsible for developing the Data Governance policy and strategy at Banregio; and the implementation of good practices around data, aiming to create a culture of data as a business asset across the banking corporation.
